Boris Johnson and his cabinet have just left the small business community out to dry. Absolutely criminal. What they’re doing to this small business community and restauranters at at at worst has been hammered the worst. I know, cause my daughter has just been laid off her restaurant shut down now. No, I don’t know who they’re talking to about, yes, we’ll get these loans and stuff, but that’s not what the small business community needs.
My experience with working with small businesses has been that they, you know, they need cashflow daily. It’s not, I don’t need a loan. I don’t need another liability to eat into my already pretty past profits. I, you know, I, I just need a grant. I need the money. I need to pay wages, need to pay my taxes, I need to pay for my living expenses, my rent, my rates.
Yes, you can give me holidays and all of that, but the liability is still carries on. It’s absolutely mad, isn’t it? And so my suggestion. Is, do you know if borrows listens to this, Boris, get your acting gear, support these small businesses, they really need your help and now’s the time to set up. There’s so many small businesses that support all your tax needs over the years.
I think it’s about time you stepped up and helped them. So this is Gordon to silver. Looking forward to Boris, listening to this and helping the communities that support him with his, with their harder and taxes over the years. Thank you. Over the years. And it’s really important that, you know, you do something back.
I mean, the country needs you right now and it doesn’t need, need you in two weeks time. They need you today. They need you now. They need you right now. Please get a move on. This is my message to Boris. Please. Listen to the small businesses go and actually meet small businesses or small businesses, not that some business that turns over 10 million.
I mean, you probably think Amazon’s a small business for goodness sake, just because it’s got a depo with 300 people in it. A small business has got four, five, 10 20 people, 30 people in it, and they support the economy hugely and they pay their taxes. Unlike people like Amazon who don’t. So let’s get a move on, Boris, let’s get a move on.
Chancellor, let’s get this thing sorted. Let’s get the small businesses, communities, and employees all over the country, supportive because they’re hurting right now. Okay.
