Tax Credit deadline warning from HMRC

There are only a matter of days to go (July 31st) before the deadline to renew your tax credit claims, to avoid payments being stopped.

It is imperative that you check all your details are up-to-date and renewal forms submitted to HMRC by the due date to protect your awards. Failure may also result in losing all the payments you have received since April.

There are also proposals to increase penalties for late tax credit returns from August 1st, to encourage claimants to file their returns more diligently in the future.
