Grants for small businesses. Government Guidance

00:00 – Yeah. Small business grown funding. Now this is quite useful if you work out of premises, right? I don’t mean your home, excuse me. Uh, but premises. So for example, if you work out of a small shop or an office, an office not as a service office, you don’t qualify. If you work in the service office, in most cases, if you don’t qualify for business rates.

Either exempt business rates or small business rates, then you don’t get a ground. But if you do qualify for small business rates, either exempt for it or pay a small amount, then you either get a 10,000 pounds a grant that is, if you’re exempt from small business rates and you have an office or you will get a 25,000.

Pound grant it in slightly larger premises and you pay business rates, I think, up to between 25 and 50,000 pounds.

In the meantime. If you are a small business and you are looking at a postcode, covert, uh, 19 wold and you’re thinking what’s in store, then I think you might be glad to know that I’m running workshops throughout the month of April, bringing some thoughts to you so we can maybe brainstorm together what may happen in a, a, in a postcode 90 world.

If you don’t think it’s going to change the tool, fair enough. You know, everyone’s entitled to a view, right? For me, it’s all about planning for the worst and expecting the best, and then going for the best and making, making plans. You’ve got to plan for it. What if it happens?

We’ve made plans for it. And, uh, if it does, we then have plans to execute. We’ve got things we can prepare for between now and then, we locked down. We can’t do anything. Well, we could watch Netflix, we can watch YouTube and. Funny videos and stuff. Oh, we can prepare our businesses for a post in 19 Walden and that is what we’re doing all through April.
