How to Save Money – The Basic step by step processOne very early morning in August 2021 I was inspired to make some videos on how to save money.In this video, I am going to talk about the overriding principle of successful goal achievement, whether it is saving more money, getting a better job, growing your business or anything else.Skip this step, and you will make it much harder on yourself.IMPORTANT >> This does NOT constitute Investment Advice.Money happens to be the currency we use to live our lives. We exchanged for accommodation, food, entertainment and everything else in between…People say that money doesn’t buy happiness… But it does afford a better quality of misery! :-)When you have more money you have a better quality of life, and more things become possible.When you want to save money, we have already discussed the starting point which is understanding and documenting your WHY!If you haven’t done this yet, please go back and do this exercise.Now, you’re why maybe to be debt free, to pay off a mortgage, to retire early, to be able to take a job you love, which may not pay as much or anything else…These are big goals.Bigger for some than for others…No, I don’t want to seem that I’m arguing against myself, but when you have a big goal, you have to be careful you don’t lose heart when you don’t get there in one week, one month or one year.Good things take time.The Chinese have a proverb “a journey of 1000 miles starts with a single step.”If you have ever been on a walk or a treck, and have a look back as to how far you have come I’m just taking one step at a time, you will know what I mean.I remember a few years ago when I attempted to climb to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.(Spoiler alert) I didn’t make it to the top, but I did get close, without proper training, without proper guidance, without a proper strategy…I was lucky to get as far as I did, to the final Basecamp.I remember my guide telling me, just look back and see how far you’ve come… And when I look back, I could see what a long way I had walked, one step at a time.In this video I discuss importance of breaking down your journey into small bite-size chunks. Little milestones.Remember we are creating new habits.And habits are notoriously tricky to create.And bad habits are notoriously difficult to break.Watch the video, it adds a few more thoughts to take on your journey…Once you’ve watched the video, please give me feedback.The more feedback I get, the more likely it will be then I put out more videos like this, to help you save more money…In the coming series of this subject…I will talk about how to save money, and offer some tools that you can use to help you along the way…All completely free.
