Investigations into VAT continue to rise

With businesses continuing to challenge the taxman the latest news of VAT investigations rising is not a surprise. The report from the Telegraph shows an increase of over 40% of companies in 2011 investigated; only suggests that by the end of the next tax year we would assume that this is only going to get worse.
